Senior Portrait photography is one of my favorite types of photography! It's such a joy to celebrate with a student who is moving on to the next step in their journey! For some, that means going to college, trade school, or a gap year adventure--for others it's the beginning of their career, or entrepreneurship, or even just trying their hand at independence. It's truly a special season of life and I love being there to capture it and the many emotions that come with it.
This week's blog highlights my session with Sarah, and boy is she a smart kid!
During our photoshoot, Sarah told me about her classical education--and as a soon-to-be classical educator myself, I was thrilled to hear so much positivity from a senior regarding her education. She genuinely loved her academic journey and looks forward to pursuing further education--at my alma mater!
While we took many portraits at Hershey Gardens, I'm not able to share those per the Garden's agreement. What I do get to share is even dearer to Sarah's heart--pictures from the Pennsylvania capitol! (If you are coming from IL confused as to why I'd post about PA--It's because I'm moving to IL this fall!) She spent many hours at the capitol educating younger students about state government and policies. She taught me a few things while we were there, too!
I really enjoyed taking pictures in the city, and I'm hopeful for many more city photoshoots in Chicago after the move!
Sarah, you were a gem! It was genuinely a blast taking your senior portraits. I can't wait to see what you'll do in your future!
