The Hench families are like wildflowers.

They are everywhere back in PA. The original Hench brothers were a big family, that sprouted several more families, that touched the lives of just about everyone in our small little town. It seems like everyone I meet there is a Hench, knows a Hench, works for a Hench....well, you get the idea!

But they're also like wildflowers because they are a beautiful group of people. They spread joy. They bring a sense of freedom and happiness with them wherever they go. This portion of the Hench family is no different.

I was so excited to do this shoot with them, because I had a strong feeling it would be FUN.

Eric and Jean have truly raised a stellar family. Everyone had such a sense of humor and a strong personality of their own. I could see how each person played a role in the shenanigans--and let me tell you, there were SHENANIGANS happening behind me at all times!

I'm pretty sure Carver was stuck in a tree for a few minutes--and that's the least of it!

There's something wholesome and spirit-filling about spending an hour taking pictures with a group of people who are free around each other, who don't hold back on the roasts or the love.
